Woodsy Engagement | Ben + Clara

Ben and Clara met back in high school and have since moved out to Alberta for their careers. I absolutely love when couples take me to a location that means something to them. We drove out to the area they grew up and down a very slippery road. We walked down a snow covered road which was surrounded by beautiful trees, for the perfect woodsy engagement session. When we arrive to the creek, Ben shows me where they come in the summers for bonfires and where they hang out with their friends. We were skeptical about whether we should venture out due to the pending weather, but it ended up being so perfect! A sunny morning with a light snowfall…it looked magical!

Minutes into the session, I felt so at ease with this couple and felt like I had known them for yours. We were crackin’ jokes and having some great laughs!! I cannot wait until next September to meet their friends and family!
