As a PEI Wedding Photographer, I have the pleasure of meeting so many great people, those that live here on PEI and those that want a destination wedding in PEI.

Matthew + Lily are from Montreal, Quebec and visited Prince Edward Island a few years ago and fell in love with it. When planning their wedding, they thought of no better place than PEI to solidify their marriage with each other. A destination wedding in PEI was the perfect place to join friends and family together.

Their friends and family, literally from all over the world, joined them in Lakeside, PEI at The Rodd Crowbush.

The day started out with sunny skies but quickly turned an hour before the ceremony was to begin. Lily was a bit disappointed when they had to move the ceremony from the gorgeous beach to the grass location (understandably so). And then I’m sure it was a bit displeasing that we had to kibosh the outdoor ceremony all together.

With all of that said, the indoor ceremony was gorgeous and I wish I could remember all of the music that the strings duo played because to me, it made the ceremony! The ones I can remember are, “Hockey Night in Canada Theme Song” when Matt was walking down the aisle, “Single Ladies (Put a Ring On It)” by Beyonce for the exchange of the rings, and “Signed, Sealed, Delivered” by Stevie Wonder when they were signing the registry.

We were SO lucky that after the ceremony, the rain let up and we were able to get some epic PEI scenery photos for Lily + Matt.

I just want to thank you, Lily, Matt, and all of your friends and family for making the entire day seamless and so enjoyable. Amanda and I had a blast with you all, rain and mosquitos included :). Enjoy your honeymoon on the East Coast.
