Fiddling Fisherman Lookout Wedding

Last weekend, I had the absolute pleasure of photographing a couple from Boston who had a Fiddling Fisherman Lookout wedding. It was a relaxed, seaside ceremony with family and friends, followed by drinks, dinner and dancing.

From Boston to PEI

The trip to Prince Edward Island is always a mini vacation for the bride. Her family has called Souris home for over 200 years, so PEI has always held a special place in her heart. She has been working hard upgrading the original home with some help from her now husband. His many trips over with her made him fall in love with PEI as well. The Fiddling Fisherman Lookout made for the perfect location for their wedding.

Family Ties

Getting to have a front row seat of these two families joining was so heartfelt. Both the bride and the groom had adult children who were just so happy that their parents were happy. In their speeches, they joked about helping with their parents’ dating profiles and how they would always disagree over who was the better team – as the groom was originally from New York.

If you’re looking to bring family and friends to PEI for your wedding, I suggest The Fiddling Fisherman Lookout. The venue is beautiful and the scenery is stunning. Thanks to both families for the opportunity to be a part of this union and for making me feel like part of the family.
