This unique brunch-style wedding was held at the Historic St. Mary’s Church which was built in the 1800’s. The couple wanted something a bit different for their wedding day because they are home bodies and less likely to party than the average 25 year old. After the ceremony inside the church, guests walked across the lawn to the pavilion where they had tea, coffee, snacks and sweets to celebrate the newly married couple.
The stunning French-Gothic style building offers a unique addition to the surrounding landscape, unlike anything else in the area. The building was designed by prolific PEI architect William Critchlow Harris, and built under the instruction of Nathan MacFarlane between 1900 and 1902 (underthespire.ca).
Thank you so much for having me capture your wedding day! It was absolute perfection.
