Rodd Crowbush Golf & Beach Resort Wedding

bride and groom posing at rodd Crowbush

This past weekend, I had the chance to photograph Chris and Krystina’s beautiful wedding at the Rodd Crowbush Golf & Beach Resort. The resort is one of PEI’s top spots for a wedding because of it’s all-in-one wedding services, a 4.5 star golf course, cozy cottages and hotel rooms, and it’s just steps away from the beach.

Chris and Krystina started dating in 2021 and have built a life together with their son. Krystina is also a big part of Chris’ daughter’s life, and their wedding day really showed how close and connected their family is. Not only do they have a tight knit family, their friends also play a large part in their lives.

Ceremony

The ceremony was held at St. Columba Presbyterian Church, a quiet and lovely spot for them to say “I do.” After the ceremony, the couple and their wedding party explored a few scenic PEI locations for photos while guests headed back to the resort to enjoy cocktail hour.

Reception

The reception took place in the ballroom at the Rodd Crowbush Golf & Beach Resort, where guests were served a delicious meal. The two main dishes were Pan Roasted Chicken Supreme with sour cherry balsamic, and Grilled Halibut with Chile lime garlic sauce—both big hits.

One of the most memorable parts of the day was the first dance. Instead of doing it inside, Chris and Krystina danced outside in the courtyard just as the sun was setting behind clouds. It was simple, sweet, and felt like the perfect ending to an amazing day. I imagine the party went on for quite some time and the dance floor was never empty.

Booking your wedding

If you’re thinking about a PEI wedding, a Rodd Crowbush Golf & Beach Resort wedding is a great option—beautiful setting, great food, and everything in one place. Take a look at another wedding I’ve photographed at the resort here.

Thank you to both sides of the family for making me feel welcome and to the wedding party for being fast and efficient. I had such a fun day with you all.
