Will & Alana were married in Alana’s parent’s backyard. A simple and sweet Souris wedding. They wrote their own vows and had their best friend officiate their wedding. I absolutely love being part of a wedding where the bride and groom cannot keep their eyes off of each other. There were so many details of their wedding that made it so special to them.
Will & Alana rented this cute cottage on the Bay for after the wedding. We decided to stop over before heading to the ceremony!
Will and Alana both love to travel and they had guests travel from all over the world to be with them on their wedding day!
Will and Alana had their wedding bands made from Alana’s Opa’s wedding band. Alana’s engagement ring was made by Jeanette Walker in Charlottetown, PEI using Will’s mothers’s gold and Canadian Diamonds. The earrings and charm on the bouquets is a Zeeland Knot from Alana’s Oma’s region of the Netherlands.
It was very important for Alana to have a photo looking out over the Harbour in Fortune where her father makes a living. His blueberry fields also provided for the amazing filling in the delicious pies that were served at each table.
Thank you both for allowing me to capture your Souris wedding!
