Let's be friends

You might first be asking me why the heck I was traveling solo with two toddlers and the answer to that question is pretty easy. I had flight vouchers that were going to expire and I couldn’t let them go to waste. My brother lives in Calgary and one of my best friends is in […]

What a day for a fall outdoor wedding!!! Alex and Stevie had to make the tough decision whether to push forward with their fall outdoor wedding on October 1st, after the property sustained substantial damage from Hurricane Fiona, or postpone. They postponed to this past Saturday, Oct 22 which can be dicey in October when […]

When I was first starting out, learning how to use a flash at a wedding reception was terrifying to me. I think it was mostly because I was so unfamiliar with flash that I relied on YouTube to learn. There are SO many different ways that you can use flash so after many videos I […]

These tips for photographing couples walking are some that I never used to even notice until it was pointed out to me by another photographer. Sometimes, you just need to step back and see things through someone else’s eyes. 1. Give Instruction Most couples have never had their photos professionally taken, just the two of […]

MEET NICOLE

Hey Everyone!! I'm Nicole, the editor and photographer of this blog. I work as a full-time Radiation Therapist helping those with cancer get through their radiation treatments. Five years ago, I decided to start my own photography business and I am so excited to say that it is thriving. Typically, I stick to photographing weddings which I find is such a great outlet from my other full-time job.

The reason that I have decided to start this blog, is primarily to keep myself busy while I am on maternity leave with my first child. Let's be honest, I am going to be plenty busy for the first few months but I hope to be able to juggle both. I love being able to share my life experiences with others who can either laugh or find what I have to say helpful.

Please feel free to email me if there is anything that you would like me to cover on the blog!
