I always love when I get the chance to photograph my couples prior to their wedding day. It not only gives me a chance to get to know them and they me, but it allows them to get comfortable getting their pictures taken. A lot of couples show up to engagement sessions or even their wedding saying, “Sorry, we have never had our photos taken together before, not really sure how this works”. Usually, by the end of the evening we are laughing together and they feel more comfortable than when they arrived. Josh and Melissa could go one of two routes after meeting Emily and I…”They are going to be so much fun at our wedding” OR “Wow, they never shut up! I hope they aren’t always like that”. We always hope for the first one 🙂
