Rodd Brudenell River Wedding | JD + Maria

Before diving into the adorable couple, I just want to take a minute to mention all that The Rodd Brudenell River Wedding Venue has to offer. There is an outdoor ceremony location, as well as, an indoor reception area. Guests are able to stay at the hotel or at the adjacent cottages. Everything is right there and so convenient!

Let me take you all back to when Maria was in grade 9 and locked eyes with JD. She spent her entire year trying to figure out how to get his attention. He spent most of his free time playing sports or running around with the Evans-Renaud clan so she had to be strategic at catching his eye. She decided that the best way to do this was to join the rugby team. By the way she told this story, it seemed to me that maybe she wasn’t as much of an athlete as he was! Regardless of her skills, she managed to grab his attention and they have been dating ever since!!

This October they will celebrate 11 years together but from this past Saturday, August 28th onward, they will start to celebrate their years together as a married couple!

Thank you both for having me!! I too felt like by the end of the night we were all just a group of friends hanging out 🙂
