Alexander and Rachel met at Queen’s University in Kingston Ontario and opted for a small intimate PEI wedding. She from PEI and he from the UK. It was so nice to be able to have both families assembled on the Island to celebrate the unity of Alexander and Rachel.
They were married at St. Mark’s Presbyterian church in Sherwood and had a reception to follow at the HMCS Queen Charlotte on the waterfront of Charlottetown. I was standing at the back of the church when all of a sudden, I heard the most beautiful singing but I couldn’t figure out where it was coming from. There was no choir or soloist. I started searching the crowd and found that the powerful singing voice was coming from Rachel’s sister Susie! I was blown away.
I’d like to thank the families and friends of Alexander and Rachel for being so welcoming and lovely throughout the day.
Alexander and Rachel are often times apart during the holidays so they each purchased one of these adorable racoons to bring with them when they are apart. It was fitting to have them documented on the wedding day.
