How dreamy is this sunset sailboat engagement photos on the Hillsborough River in gorgeous Charlottetown, PEI? I felt like I was in a movie and I was the photographer so I can only imagine how the couple was feeling during our sailboat engagement photos. Honestly, the weather could not have been more perfect for this session.

For my engagement sessions, I always suggest the couple bring a second outfit. This way we can have a more casual look and then also a more dressy look. If you want to learn more about that, read this post. If the couple has enough time, I like to use two different locations as well to be able to give them variety in their final gallery.

We began our session at a local historic site so that we could get a few photos with their adorable dogs. Having quality photos with your dogs is so important to me so whenever we can, I always suggest bringing their dogs with them. Afterwards, we went down to the marina to find our captain.
